Business Issue – Team Performance

A regional social housing provider was dealing with the reality of moving out of the overarching umbrella of the Local Authority.  They were experiencing below par team performance because they were developing into a successful stand-alone business with a workforce of some 300 members.

The disconnection between management levels and also as across operational levels was a key issue. We designed a series of interventions which included the following:

  • Development and delivery of a bespoke Leadership Development Programme based on a broad landscape of techniques. This included Coaching models, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and also Action Centred Principles.
  • The delivery of targeted coaching to relevant people across the business.  This resulted in significant improvements in individual and also departmental performance.
  • Completion of a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of all Directors, Senior and also Middle Managers.  This resulted in a fully detailed report advising on each key person can get the best from his or her colleagues.
  • In addition we designed and delivered a project-based business improvement activities across the business.  This focussed on Directors through to the Front Line Staff.
